Gypsy Rose and her mom, Dee Dee lived in Springfield, Missouri in a house built for them by Habitat for Humanity. Gypsy appeared to have a myriad of health issues including being unable to walk - but things weren't as they seemed. Eventually as she got older, she met a guy online who became her boyfriend and together they went down a dark path that landed both of them in prison. I don't want to spoil it for you any more than that.
