I love anime! If I had to pick a favorite, probably Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and Ginga Nagareboshi Gin.
I also like Bleach, D.Gray man, One piece, Death note, Wolfs rain, Soul eater, Naruto, Fairytail, Blue Exorcist, Hunter X Hunter and the older Pokemon series.
I recently finished watching Fate Stay Night and Fate Zero

Just dropped in to recommend Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash. If you’re sick to death of that ”modern people in a fantasy world” genre, I get it, but this one doesn’t play out like the cliche you might expect. It features characters with actual personalities behaving in believable ways. And the production values are top notch.

What's going on lol . Who's jojo?
Haha, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is a really good anime, and like a lot of fans of it, i have a hard time shutting up about it, i suspect i'm turning myself into a running joke with that. :L
But it does have vampires in it, so i couldn't resist joking about trying to push it on another innocent soul. *hysterical
As @Lotus points out, i need to reel in the sales pitch, and i am trying to. ;)

I need to get around to finishing part 2 of JoJo. I keep getting sidetracked by other shows and stuff.

Welcome to the NHK is one of my favorite shows, mainly because of how painfully relatable it is. Some of my other current favorites are Houseki no Kuni (Land of the Lustrous), Steins;Gate, Madoka, Kill La Kill, Little Witch Academia, and Haibane Renmei. Hmm, it's actually really hard to pick favorites, haha.

Lately I've been watching Symphogear for the hype.

Hope nobody minds if I bump this thread every time I finish something that I think is worth recommending.
On that note, I just finished Kemurikusa and it was pretty great. Any short synopsis you might read will make it sound pretty generic when it’s really anything but. Don’t quite know how to describe what I mean, but it feels a lot more like one person’s creative vision coming through rather than something created by committee and intended to have mass appeal.

Anyone remember suncoast? It was a store that sold anime VHS for 30 bucks or more a pop back in the early 90s late 80s
Lol, yeah. And to think, people would actually pay that for one movie or maybe 3 episodes of a series and be happy to have found it at all.

Man, I remember back in the day when you’d hear about a series and it might be years before you ever got to see it because distribution was so poor.

Luckily for me, we had a little locally owned video rental store (yeah, how fucking old am I?) that rented out copies (like, literally hand-labelled copies the owner had made at home) of more obscure (for the time) stuff like anime and foreign scifi and horror movies.
