I know right, and minimum wage back then was roughly 7. Its just not worth buying media nowadays. I bought a bunch of DVDs when they were a thing back then must have spent thousands and later sold them to amazon for .50 cents to 1 buck a piece. I've since stopped buying media lol.

Yes, i'm a huge fan of anime/manga/LN. If you want to know my favorite one, it's Monogatari. I also love touhou universe and I really like youkai in general and mystic/traditional.
I tend to like mystic/drama/psycho and in other side, cute animes/slice of life/comedy. (Asobi asobase is really hilarous). (Fantasy is my #1 favorite)

I've been really wanting to fall in love with the Monogatari series, but right now I'm at least enjoying it in bits at a time. I've seen Bake-, Kizu-, Nise-, Neko-, and I'm trying to get myself to start on Bake- second season, since that's when lots of people say they fall in love with it. It's enjoyable, but I have needed breaks from the series after a few episodes, which isn't how I'm used to watching shows, haha. I'm a binge-watcher and can barely get myself to start a currently airing series/season unless there is a major risk of spoilers being casually posted around.

I’m 3 episodes into The Promised Neverland right now, and it seems really good so far.

No real spoilers in here, but some people prefer to know as little as possible going in so I’ll tag it anyway just to be safe
I’d be willing to bet that whoever wrote it grew up in an abusive, or at least very dysfunctional, family. They way they’re able to depict the tension between people who all have knowledge of something awful that is going on just behind the scenes, and all of whom know that the others know, and all of whom are gritting their teeth and pretending everything is normal because to do otherwise would be to invite even worse consequences; it rings very true.

I’ve watched Overlord and Hellsing (both the Abridged and original versions). I’ve watched DBS and some kill la kill, saw Gantz version 3.0 and Death Note.

I like stuff with a surprise or twist ending.
