I cannot stand the little girl in me telling me it was my fault. I just cannot live with the guilt of being responsible.

Rocky, the key words here are "little girl"........how can a little girl be held responsible for that.......that's because she's not. Keep working with your therapy and this thought will go. Take care

It was never your fault and you aren't responsible for what happened. The adults in your life should have shown you guidance and caring. Please, don't blame yourself. *hugs*

I don't know the story but anything that happened when you were just a little kid shouldn't leave a cloud over your head. You may regret how something went, but don't hold yourself accountable for it now.
