Hello friends. Haven't written in a little while. I seem to have lost a bit of weight but tomorrow I go to my mom's for Christmas holiday for a week. I did okay last time I was there (a year ago) about being about to turn down seconds, as in, if there 4 servings and 3 of us, it's not my obligation to eat the last piece for convenience or to show my appreciation. Oftentimes it ends up as breakfast or lunch the next day while they have something meaty (I'm vegetarian). I do weigh probably 10 more pounds since they last saw me but I may be overly fussy what my ideal weight is. I'm not hungry all the time like I tended to be.
Anyway, my resolution for today is to stop buying peanut butter. It's too easy to indulge and confers no health benefits really. I need to have fruit around.
I have been getting on my vertical climber machine more, daily, and watching a show. It makes up for not going on long walks, which really I was cold and wiping my nose constantly and dealing with cold hands (I did buy new gloves recently). When works slows down a for a while, in the spring, I can go out and do that. My machine is no good though. Being loud once it's warmed up is one thing, but the right side has something wrong with a part that jars my knee once it's warmed up. I could feel the part that is worn down. I have no idea how to fix it or replace it and am just thinking of getting another machine, different brand, hopefully one that doesn't shed black material on the floor. This machine was a gift from my ex husband's mom to him which I ended up with, and I'll be glad to get rid of it.
So all in all I feel I'm getting healthier. I hope my sad overindulgence didn't cause much long-term harm. Chronic diseases are no joke.
