Welcome to the club. It doesn’t help that it is freezing cold

Luckily, I see family members fairly often (son & daughter). I'm grateful my husband & I are talking.
The weather for us here has been moderated by a warm Pacific airmass. It is raining - when a week ago temps were way down below zero. I love rain. ☔️

Today I remembered sitting on the warm sand in the sun. The wind was picking up but it was still so nice. The air sweet with ocean in every breath. The loud waves were rolling and rolling in & silly me trying to draw them, laughing at my puny self. And thinking well, now would be a good time for a hug. Except I didn't ask, because I thought I shouldn't interrupt their space.

I'm thinking anout renting out my house and my cat. It'd have to be to a person who loves cats, as well as practical & robust enough to handle an old house and a yard. How do I advertise and not get swamped with people - I don't know. Tthere's a lack of housing around here & it is hard to know who's going to take care of stuff, & who's clueless & careless.

i think the best way is to advertise and then screen very carefully. the other way would be to go through a realtor. either way i would make the lease for only 1 year at first so you can see how they do. it may be a good idea to ask for a little more than you want so you have a little extra for repairs plus make sure you get a security deposit. where are you going to go?
