Sleep is always an issue for me, has been for a few years. Bad habits mean I can knock myself out into oblivion and not exist for 10 hours or, if I avoid taking the knock out meds, I don’t sleep.
Last two nights I’ve taken no meds but had very restless nights with very strange unpleasant dreams. Difficult to know what’s best really, enforced oblivion or nightmares.
That sounds horribly exhausting and frustrating. I can’t imagine how hard that must be. I’m sorry you have to deal with this. I have been having nightmares every night lately too, but can’t remember anything. The effects make me feel weird all day, and I don’t even know what is bothering me since I can’t remember a thing besides the fear

sometimes i sleep 2 hours like now and i feel relaxed because it was a deep restful sleep…

sometimes i can have 6-7 hours of sleep but feel even more tired because it was a shallow sleep and i keep waking up every 30mins to an hour…

i often sleep light so even the smallest amount of noise can break it for me and whenever i break my sleep i am unable to go back to sleep which then ruin my plans/to do list

I’m in the exact same boat, and it’s exhausting. I guess sleep quality is more important than quantity sometimes, but it’s so frustrating to not be able to have both. It’s even more frustrating to be so tired that you can’t accomplish what you planned to.

Last night was a joke. Tried to go to bed just a little earlier, but woke up at 11:59. It was literally just before midnight. I've never had that happen before it's usually 3 or 4 am. Was in and out of sleep after that and so miserable today. Took half day of work hopefully I can nap. Something needs to give.

I’m very sorry to hear that, Anona. Is there anything in particular keeping you awake/awaking you?

The emotion it leaves you with is he hardest part. Sorry you are going through that. Hope you are able to find a way to calm your mind and have calmer nights.
