Day 7.

Not hungry, not thinking of food constantly but did do a good grocery shop yesterday and got meat, fish, veggies, fruit, all healthy :)

Breakfast today will be pineapple rings, bbq chicken pieces and some oats/yogurt combined, need to get in as many nutrients as possible. In that meal there's plenty of protein, fibre and fruit.

@HumanExMachina Does this sound like a good and healthy breakfast to you?

Middle of the night eating may be getting worse not better. Had boar's head and and stuffed partridge last night with silver salver of field mouse and flaggon of mead.
But my sleeping is back which is main thing for now I think. Will have one week making sure sleeping is ok and then start to gradually build up IF. So, Im still on board, but just sitting at back for now.

I'd been doing well sticking to the IF until this weekend. Didn't eat anything on Friday but had quite a bit to drink in the evening so then felt really hungry yesterday morning. And of course today has been the SF meet in London so drinking all afternoon and evening. Will start again tomorrow.

Anyway, despite my best efforts this month I've put on weight and I don't understand why. But I'll stick with it for another few weeks and see what happens.

Was quite proud of this. Yesterday had egg for breakfast; pasta with peas and cauliflower for lunch; Co-op feta salad with new sprouting broc, green beans, might have been lettuce, and spinach for dinner; blueberries as snack; and porridge with cocoa powder and flax seeds before bed. So had my 7 a day.
I guess I should own up to also having had cadbury's chocolate buttons.

btw Had another very small egg at 1 am but am discounting that for IF purposes and am going to try to not have breakfast until 10 am.

Maybe there is bit of rebound effect at first as unwittingly eat bigger portions during window to store for anticipated fast. Im sure will be weight loss next month.

Yes maybe bob. Not aware of eating bigger portions but might have been.

On my second week now, very proud that I got through my first week as well as I did. Not going near the scales yet though. Going to have a meal out today and going to try make it as healthy as possible, that might be difficult but I'll try my best. I am going to stay on this diet plan for 3 more weeks then go on the scales then decide if its working for me. Well done guys you are all doing great :)

Don't worry about the odd chocolate binge @bobbob just move on and make your next meal super healthy.

@Woowoo I'd give it a little more time if I were you and have a few less drinks, if you can :P

Going to do a few little bits of shopping in awhile as its tough to keep on buying little bits and then more little bits, i'll get there :)

Well done everyone and thanks for the well wishes @DrownedFishOnFire

I was reading up on the 4:3 style of Intermittent fasting, what do you think of it @HumanExMachina

It doesn't appeal to me because it isn't a natural way of eating and isn't sustainable in the long term. 16:8 is effortless and delivers results, and it isn't just a temporary weight loss program, it's a permanent lifestyle change. But everybody's different. I'm sure it works for some people.

Cool thanks, since I am looking for something to work long haul I shall stay on the 16:8, don't want any more fad diets. I had been thinking about it but the words ''short term'' turn me right off. Thankies :)
