Well my weight was down this morning and I got my workout in yay workout goals for the day accomplished now to try and get 10000 steps hugs everyone you are all doing wonderful.
Well done sassy, that's brilliant :)

How do you monitor your steps? I got a fitbit 2 years ago and I found it a real motivator and it helped me lose weight. It broke last year and I didn't bother for ages cos I was so depressed but I recently got a new one. The motivation is slowly coming back (the nicer weather helps :) )

I've had a pretty good day so far. I had a long walk this morning and then got some more steps in when I went to the bank so I've done nearly 13000 steps. I've drunk about a litre of water and I've eaten well. Breakfast was 4 oaty breakfast biscuits, lunch was chicken breast and prawns with lettuce, peppers and Sun dried tomatoes and I'm going to have a veggie omelette for dinner. However as it's Friday I'm meeting a friend for a drink but I'm going to try to drink gin and slimline tonic rather than wine to keep the calories down :)

Enjoy the walk Petal :) I've already done mine as it was sunny here this morning.

Even if it is a plateau it won't last long. When I lost lots of weight I found that I'd lose lots one week and then lose nothing the next week or sometimes 2 despite doing nothing differently, but then the next week I'd lose lots again.
That’s exactly how my body works! One week I won’t lose weight and then 2 weeks later a bunch of weight is magically gone lol. Sometimes you gotta ignore that scale and just work hard, I push myself a little harder on days where I feel really refreshed and energized just to make sure I’m getting all I can out of myself

I have a Fitbit also and It really shows me how much I slacked off before I had one. It motivates the heck out of me and I just wanna see those calories burned and steps go as high as I can get them everyday

My friend said "You shouldn't be gaining weight if you are walking so much". I don't even know if I gained weight or not, but that didn't seem very supportive anyway. I guess I just have to keep trying and do things at my own pace.

Ignore that friend hun, maybe she didn't mean to be so rude but just ignore it and leave in in the past :) You're obviously doing great walking so much, kudos to you :) Well done and keep it up, the hard work will pay off so don't give much attention to comments like that one. You're doing great. Keep it up.

Well done you had a fantastic day yesterday, you're doing fantastic. Did you manage to stick to the gin and slimline tonic?

I sneaked in a few biscuits and a small tub of custard as I wanted something sweet but still 100 percent on track. I wanted something sweet earlier in the day too so I searched the net and found a good idea, I bought some sweet potatoes and cut up a large one and added some coconut oil (very healthy) and spiced it up with cayenne and chilli, and into the oven....it was unreal tasting, so damn nice :)

That is really, really encouraging to know. Should be interesting how I do at my next weigh-in on Friday. It's great to know the hard work does pay off :) Well done to you :)

Ooh that sounds yummy Petal, I'll have to give it a try.

Yes, I stuck to the gin and slimline tonic which I'm very proud of, and I feel better for it this morning too :)

Have you got a goal for today? I think mine will be to eat healthily again with plenty of fruit and veg. I'm not sure I'm going to get any exercise done today. I had another awful night's sleep and I feel shattered so I might just rest and relax today.

Definitely do try the simple recipe of sweet potatoes, you will be amazed at how good it tastes and how easy and healthy it is and you and add as much spice or herbs you want.

Awww sorry to hear you didn't sleep well darling.

Congratulations to sticking to your plan and I bet you still managed to have a great time out :)

Yes I have a goal for today, to reach 5 portions of fruit and vegetables. Good luck with your goals :)

Well done Petal, you've had a fantastic day again :) I've had a reasonable day. I haven't managed any exercise but then I didn't think I would. I've eaten ok. I had a poached egg on toast for brunch then some grapes and then duck breast with tenderstem broccoli, tomato and sweetcorn for dinner.

Thank you hun :) I reached my goal of 5 portions fruit/veg yay.

You have had a good day hun, why don't we challenge ourselves to a bit of exercise for tomorrow? Maybe just 20 minutes and anything above will be a bonus?
