I listen to a ton of bands. Recently, my boyfriend got me into a few rad ones that are a bit newer, he is a huge Tool fan haha. Evidently when it comes to music that calms me down I tend to find myself listening to a lot of bands like The Smiths, The Cure, Joy Division. I love my metal & punk though soooo much too, especially tholder stuff like Black Sabbath & the Ramones. Music is such a gift & at times its almost like a friend ☺

This may sound strange, but all my life I have loved thunderstorms. When a thunderstorm comes to my home, most times I will open the garage door, and watch it rain and thunder.

I've always loved instrumental music a lot, especially post-rock instrumentals in my teens. I suggest anything by The Album Leaf if you're looking for peace and chilling stuff, I am gonna post a piece below.

I’ve bee listening to Tool a ton lately, all their albums are on Apple Music now in advance of the new one. Have been dissecting the new song with friends.
I know, I was super stoked when I heard they were put on Spotify. I really dig their new song tbh. Ik a lotnof people cant get behind it but the lyrics & energy is just something else

I like it a lot. I think it’s a good mix between old and new

Probably the music you like the most, minus the melancholic and aggressive sounds. I listen to music I know the lyrics of, so I can sing to it. Some film scores are nice, too. I would also listen to things I was listening to years ago, it usually comes with nostalgic calming feelings.
