Musings, ideas, what are you thinking about?

I don’t know whether to judge the effectiveness of my antidepressant by my mood or my actions. If I’ve improved my life, and I’m willing to continue, could my medication be helping even if my mood suggests otherwise? I’ve tried numerous antidepressants that have done nothing more than numb the sadness temporarily before I adjust and inevitably suffer another bout of obsessive suicidal ideation. Even now after taking esketamine for about a year and having gone back to school, I still think I’m better off dead—no longer painfully aware of my thoughts, emotions, individuality, and identity, but I’m hopeful at least!

I made instant ramen but instead of using the flavor packet, I used bonito powder and miso as soup base, added egg and kimchi as a side dish, next time i’ll add vegetables and probably mushrooms, probably a quick chicken stir fry.

it’s definitely a whole lot better than the salty spicy packet it came with. It tasted a lot of umami, more flavor depth.

Questions where not even AI gave me a satisfying answer.

What was there before big bang? what triggered it?
If the universe is expanding, what is that space? Is there an area that the universe has yet to occupy? Is there more space outside the space occupied by the universe?
Was big bang bound to happen? Was there something else that could have happened instead?

Trite phrases that “need to die” in [current year]:

“It’s okay to not be okay.” Not okay is not okay.

“Hurt people hurt people.” Makes me want to hurt people.

“It gets better.” I think that one really died; oops.

“You must be fun at parties.” Alive, well, and ironically boring and uninviting.
I'm laughing a bit. I agree with every point you made.
