That can be a tough nut to crack, trying to get a doctor to sit up and take notice. A lot depends on the type of doctor, such as if they are of the old school type in which case they generally expect to speak and the patient listens and follows. Or there's the new breed, well intentioned but fucking clueless so they need a subtle nudge in the right direction.
What they need to comprehend is, how tired you are of your body and what it's doing to you. So I was wondering if you have been offered any pain assessment tools so as to allow the medics to get a better snapshot of the pain and discomfort you're experiencing?
Just trying to brush you off in a 5 minute consultation is taking the piss, especially considering from what I recall the conditions you're suffeirng with. I don't know how much of an input you recieve from specialists, but if your primary can't seem to be arsed, I don't know ask them to be referred onto someone who may know more of what they are doing?
