Just saw it confirmed that the pharmacy I use for my prescriptions is closing down in a few days. The article says that means there will not be a pharmacy in my neighborhood anymore. There is one not too much farther away, on my way to work, but it doesn't take my insurance. I guess I will have to start filling my prescriptions at the grocery store that's nearly a mile and a half in the opposite direction. But sometimes I need to pick up my meds on the way to work because I barely have time to go any other day, and that won't be possible anymore. It's also about a half hour to walk down there (and very tiring because I have to go up a big hill), and for some reason the buses headed out that way are always extremely unreliable.
There's a lot of people in my neighborhood, including many seniors, and it's ridiculous that they're just abandoning our community.
