I have decided not to continue with it because I gained 10lbs in 2 days for no apparent reason. Wanna go back to just healthy eating with me? I can be your motivator, we can do this together. Here, every day, we have each other to rely on. I like the goals you have listed and there's no reason you cannot reach them
My personal goal is to lose 34lbs by Christmas week, that is 2lbs a week loss. I am just eating 3 healthy meals a day with only carbs at breakfast, none for the other two meals. I am going to weigh myself at the very end or very start of every month, once a month anyway. 4 weigh ins until Christmas week.

Sounds good Petal. I need someone to motivate me. By having to tell someone else completely honestly how I'm getting on I feel motivated because otherwise I feel like I'm letting them down as well as myself.
So far today is going well. All I've consumed is a coffee with a splash of semi skimmed milk and a glass of water. I'm just about to have lunch- I think I'll make an omelette. I've been out for a 2.5 mile walk this morning (about 45-50 minutes) and collected some sloes to make sloe gin for Christmas

Awesome, sounds like a good start to the day. Of course you can be completely honest with me in how you are doing. Good or bad, I will never make a judgment.
wow a 2.5 mile walk, that is a superb start to the day and month, well done.
I am going to really get riled up in my dieting as of now and gonna log off now and have myself a healthy lunch
I'm trying to do some exercises (for 5 minutes max all in). However, when I did the plank this morning

I did it for 1 minute 5 seconds!!! I try to hold it past when it hurts, and I'm really getting better at it. I think it's making a difference for the balancing exercises - stand on one food with other food in front, then with other foot behind - for I could do it on my right foot without too much unbalancing for 20 seconds (left was only 10) - without shoes of course. But I am getting better at it.
I'd really like to go back to doing the hoop but it's 10 minutes each day and not got much motivation at all.
Some days I've done these exercises, some not. I'm not driving myself crazy about it at all.
Thanks @Petal for helping give the motivation for it.
That's really good @Innocent Forever very proud of you. The picture does look very hard so congrats for being able to do it as long as you were able. Build up slowly and you will get where you want to be gradually. You can do this
How did it get to e September already...sigh...thanks for tag @Petal....so goals are to
1. Drink more water
2. Cut back on hummus and pita chips and pistachios my newest bad habits---have replaced to large part my bad cheese habit
3. Swim every day
4, No snarky comments now--quit smoking (wish could afford chantix or meditation alas)...but going to try to read that book by Allen Carr
5. ultimate goal is to lose 10-20 lbs (155 lbs now) in several months
Agree with @Woowoo will try to check in every day as being accountable I know will help so hope no one minds...
That might not be a bad thing, Chantix has to be used in caution with depression and sometimes cannot be prescribed for that reason, dunno if you knew that.
Best of luck with the rest of your goals Definitely do check in every day.

I’m trying to walk 2 and a half miles a day plus 30 minuets on my stationary bicycle everyday. So far I’m on day 3. I’m trying to get into weightlifting so whenever I go to the gym it’ll be strictly weights since I’m doing cardio at home.
I’m trying to lose 10 pounds by the time I go on vacation at the end of the month
Yay you!
I made cookies and that's all I ate all day (but I ate like 1500 calories worth of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies)
Then I ate a bit else.
Not healthy, but I don't know how to do just 1 Or just 2, or just 5, it's yeah..... one day maybe I'll learn how to.
Not too bad @Petal I didn't have an omelette at lunchtime because I'd run out of eggs so I had a small jacket potato with a bit of grated cheese and some salad. This evening I had roast lamb with a couple of new potatoes, asparagus, carrots, broad beans and peas. I did have a glass of wine with my dinner but it was only one
It is hard to limit yourself @Innocent Forever but before making them or buying them, ask yourself... Do I really want to feed my body these cookies, don't the cons outweigh the pros?
@Woowoo well done for having a great day and limiting yourself to just one drink.

Thanks @Petal I think I had too much carbs having potatoes for lunch and dinner, but I'm pleased that I didn't have any bread or anything sweet.
And I've been organised and made a grape, spinach and blackberry smoothie to take to work tomorrow (made with fresh blackberries I picked when I went out walking this morning)
