Hello, I guess you are Japanese? I'm sorry if I offended you.

I'm Chinese and I'm quite interested in Japanese culture.

In short, Neet is my dream life, which means that I can live without hard work.

Although many works describe Neet as an unemployed person addicted to electronic products, I think that Neet has the right to choose his own life, much happier than the people around me who are struggling for their livelihood.

Of course, the premise is that Neet's life will not cause pain to others (such as parents who are financially stressed).

No actually i am American but i understand some Japanese and have Japanese friends online and yeah the stereotype of a NEET is usually either a hikikomori a internet addicted basement dweller man child or an adult with autism who refuses to get a job.

Funny how i just got done watching Watamote and it was a hard watch. Had to retry watching several times (because much triggering) lol. She was me growing up, and to a lesser degree even now still. Anyways you're not alone in that..im "okay" now through sheer effort and exposure therapy, and a job, and forced myself to go back to school. . but I only started the healing at around 27. Im almost 29 now. Still very socially awkward. As a female its even more isolating and weird. Everyone's got kids and a family now. :p idunno. I still have zero friends. I'm going to read the manga someday but..i can't till im more comfortable in life because..woah. Despair.
How are you doing lately? I know this is an old post.
