I have not read many books in the past (many) years, it's been terribly difficult. But it simply cannot stay that way forever! I used to read several per week, and I want that nerd back! So I made ambitious plans for 2026.

In the meantime, the book that has caught my attention recently (I read half of it in less than a week!) is Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens.

I've been having the same experience and i love reading. Several books per week is an astonishing achievement.
I heard Oliver twist was good.

I don't commit to books.

I "have" just cracked open the book that my parents show"ed" me with heft in or near my life life, "The Explosive Child".

As long as I'm stuck in this false future, I want to read the books that my parents have on the shelf in the present, so when I get back I can wisen up and choose to be better, and understand more about what they're going through to try to understand me and meet me where I'm at.
