Walking/hiking, cycling (as some one who is wheel-chair bound I do not and will not call it rolling). Sadly my shoulder/arm has been quite sore since early March with no sign of recovering so don't know when I'll be able to exercise regularly.

Have you had it checked out / looked at yet??
Yep, they said it is regular occurrence after I described to them how it happened but and gave me suggestions as to how to help solve it. It does seem to be taking longer than it should unfortunately. Doesn't hurt a huge amount, but all the same - annoying xD. Would like to know I can continue on doing those same things without screwing up my arm even more lol/

Dang, maybe you could ask them if there is anything else they would recommend or could do (someone else you could see?), otherwise perhaps seek a second opinion. That would drive me up the wall. Especially if I used it as much or essentially as do you. It must feel like you’re constantly hurting it more / further, or prolonging it / things (with each use. . ?)— here’s hoping for the best! Also. It doesn’t have to hurt a huge amount if it’s somethjnf that’s used that routinely. Almost like there’s a compensatory effect from repetitive use! :/

I used to love the elliptical at the gym.

Basically a running simulator without really having to bust your ass, but you still burn a lot of calories, and workout your entire body at once.

Maybe if I can start fasting for real and put my body through autophagy, I'll feel healthy enough to start running again.

I would prefer MMA sparring, but every gym is fucking trash and you have to get to know people and shit in order to spar (unless you like doing stupid shit for half an hour to spar with a random opponent for five minutes at 20%). Weightlifting, pushups and punching walls/air.

My favourite form of exercise is Advanced Impatience (for those who dont know, whenever I turn a vice into a virtue, I call the result the vice's name with the word "Advanced" infront of it, in this case, "Advanced Impatience")

- Find waiting for someone to come help me move a heavy box tedious? fine, Ill move that box myself.
- Cant be asked to wait for an escalator to SLOWLY drag me up a floor or two? fine, run up the escalator
- One step at a time too slow? try 2 steps at a time, up an escalator, on the London underground where escalators can stretch to 60 meters...
- Want to go to the shops but it takes too damned long? Not when youre running.

I highly recommend looking into the Fitness Blender YouTube channel. They have a plethora of amazing work outs for all levels - from beginners to more advanced. The instructors are amazing, they've helped me respect the boundaries of my body when working out, instead of pushing myself to absolute pain, burnout and exhaustion.

Yes, you can only push yourself to the same extent that you can eat and sleep. But usually people push less than they physically can, obviously.

I feel like it definitely can be a trial and error until you learn to listen to your body and tune into what it is telling you. On a different day, you may feel different about how much you can perform. I used to get obsessed about this, which wasn't productive at all.
