Last I posted I was 228lb I’m now 223lb. I don’t know if it’s the heat or water weight but my weight shot up for about a week. I was so disheartened about it but now it’s finally lowered back down at my current weight. I kinda feel like i might be hitting a Plateau but I’ll wait until the end of July to really know for sure. I went to my cousins house that I haven’t seen since January and he said he almost didn’t recognize me because I lost so my weight. It definitely boosted my confidence lol. I’ve been been weighing myself every day since I bought a new digital scale, I never knew how much your body fluctuates in weight throughout the day. My goals for by the end of July is to get to 220lb, stay properly hydrated and to make sure I get a good nights rest every night

It's such a great feeling when people notice your weight loss @cvb2377 it's very encouraging. I hope for you its just the heat/water weight and that it will go back down for you again soon. Good luck with your goal for the end of July :) May I ask, do you exercise much these days?

My weight did go back down, it most likely was some random bloating. I still workout like a mad woman. I’m by no means anywhere close to being thin so I got plenty of work left. Plus the goal is to change my life to exercising and eating better forever. not just until I hit a certain number on the scale. If I went back to eating and lazing around like I used to then I’d go right back to 300lb. A lot of people take the “diet” approach to fitness and they look at it as something to do for a month then quit and go back to bad habits once the weight comes off but later wonder why the weight comes back.

I agree with you. I have lost 28 lbs in 11 weeks which is healthy and not a short term thing, 2.5lbs per week on average. It's a whole lifestyle change and a change of bad habits into healthy habits and have your treats when you want to and not deprive yourself of anything.

Keep up the good work and thanks for the reminder that its a whole lifestyle change. Keep us up to speed with how things are going :)

Last post I was 223lb, now I’m 215lb. I’m super close to my goal of 200lb. A lot of the time I still feel like I’m still just as big as when I started so someone online suggested I look at a old picture of myself. I usually can’t find a good picture to compare but this time I found a full body swim suit picture of myself from July 2017 and boy is there a difference! I had such a huge round face, double chin and big belly! It kinda felt good to laugh at the old me lol. I’ll definitely hit my weight goal by September 28th in time for my Disney Cruise I’m sure of it now! My sister is taking me clothes shopping tomorrow so I can slip into something that actually suits my slimmer body, I can’t wait!

Yesterday I went clothes shopping I can actually fit in a large T-shirt and a size 14 pants! I don’t have to exclusively shop at plus size stores anymore! I look at my shirts and pants and I swear they’re to small for me but they fit perfectly! My sister had to convince me to try on smaller clothes because I was in denial on how small I actually got within this past year!

I ate a bunch of pizza and fast food in August so I didn’t lose any weight that month. In September I started lifting weights at the gym whenever I go but I’m mainly walking 4.5 miles everyday and I’m down to around 210lbs. I’m trying to lose at least 5lb more before September 29th for my Disney cruise.
