Thanks for the tag and the cafe @Dante interesting facts and so true.
1. Not a lot just homeschooling and working on my art portfolio.
2. Get a job.
3. Neighborhood barbecue, because I think it would be a great way to get out and socialize without the hassle of having to go somewhere.
4. 3 friends.
5. Pretty much anyone who has taken the time to reply or chat with me.
Hope everyone has/had a great day.

1) What have you been up to?

Been feeling down lately, resting dreading the work week.

2) What's the FIRST thing you plan to do when all this pandemic crap is over, the shops are open again and hugging isn't frowned upon?

Live free or die.

3) If you could bring back any trend, be it fashion, music, slang, anything, what would it be and why?

Power suits

4) Oh would you look at that, a Genie's lamp. What are your 3 wishes?

Wealth, happiness, success

5) Who on SF has really helped you? (Tagging them in your response is encouraged)

To all the staff and everyone here you have all helped me so much. If I had to pick just one, Mike is always there when I need someone. When feel like no one listens or cares he has been there, for advice and words of encouragement. *shake

I’m sorry, I can’t participate in the ā€˜activities’ because I’m against singling out and praising one person especially on a site like this one. People here are already not at their best and the ones left out can very easily feel like shit.

1) What have you been up to?
I’m taking care of a few things for the grand escape.

2) What's the FIRST thing you plan to do when all this pandemic crap is over, the shops are open again and hugging isn't frowned upon?
All shops are already open and I didn’t miss them at all. Hugging isn’t my thing except with the one and only. What I need is traveling.

3) If you could bring back any trend, be it fashion, music, slang, anything, what would it be and why?
Cargo pants and online interaction without insults.

4) Oh would you look at that, a Genie's lamp. What are your 3 wishes?
Health for my man and me so that we can have many years together. One million euros wouldn’t hurt either.

5) Who on SF has really helped you? (Tagging them in your response is encouraged)
There were two people that noticed me and genuinely cared when I was suicidal. One of them probably saved my life and the other one didn’t run away in spite of me being pretty obnoxious. They both know they’re special to me and I can tell them again but in private.

*Happy Gojira noises :D*stars

1) The pain of rejection is REAL, brain scans have shown people who have been rejected socially show the same patterns of brain activity to those experiencing physical pain, so dont let anyone tell you you aren't hurting.
Well of course it is, I can't imagine much that hurts more. But sure, science and evidence is cool too.

3) If you could bring back any trend, be it fashion, music, slang, anything, what would it be and why?
Of course it'd be going back to the 80s when Metal ruled the world of music. But Victorian/Gothic fashion is definitely a strong contender.

5) Who on SF has really helped you? (Tagging them in your response is encouraged)
I don't think I need to tag them and single them out. But they know who they are, and hopefully how thankful I am *hug

Thanks for the tag @Dante.

1) What have you been up to? Building a herb garden
2) What's the FIRST thing you plan to do when all this pandemic crap is over, the shops are open again and hugging isn't frowned upon? I've been living my life pretty much the same as I did before this Orwellian theatre.
3) If you could bring back any trend, be it fashion, music, slang, anything, what would it be and why? For slang I'd say "The Cat's Pajamas". Because if cats had pajamas they'd be just awesome. Cruisin' for a bruisin' is a close second because lyrical threats always make me smile.
4) Oh would you look at that, a Genie's lamp. What are your 3 wishes? A fire-breathing dragon. With that I don't need another 2 wishes.
5) Who on SF has really helped you? (Tagging them in your response is encouraged) I'm beyond help but @Legate Lanius and @Lane have a knack for enjoyable banter.

1) What have you been up to?
I've been pretty busy with work and school, but when I'm free I play alot of Street Fighter, or some kind of fighting game. I wish I could say that I've been practicing music, but tbh whenever i start I just end up getting extremely frustrated and stop after a short amount of time

2) What's the FIRST thing you plan to do when all this pandemic crap is over, the shops are open again and hugging isn't frowned upon?
I'm gonna cheat and put a couple answers. I'm gonna to go to concerts and see some bands and djs I like. I'm gonna enter local fighting game tournaments, playing online just isn't the same. And lastly, hopefully talk to some girls :)

3) If you could bring back any trend, be it fashion, music, slang, anything, what would it be and why?
Another cheater answer lol. Honestly, I'd be more interested in what trends with exist in the future. I mean I like older fashion and music and such, but I'm also really into modern music, and I think yoga pants are one of the best clothing items ever conceived :P

4) Oh would you look at that, a Genie's lamp. What are your 3 wishes?
1: I'd be good looking. It seems to make life easier in general.
2: I would be a virtuoso musician, a master of any instrument or style
3: I thought about wishing for money or girls, but the first two wishes would pretty much take care of those anyway. So I would just wish to be sick at video games, and I would go on to win the EVO world championship

5) Who on SF has really helped you?
I don't wanna give a cop-out answer, or single anyone out, so I'll just say that whoever has talked to me, or has been nice to me is greatly appreciated, and that I wish I could meet more people like that in person

Hey, Dante. Thanks for the invite.

1. The usual. Being a homebody, living like a recluse, trying to heal my mental/psychological issues with help from the friends I've made here. Doing my best to avoid the worst parts of my depression. Some days are good, some are bad, some are okay, others are terrible. But I do my best. That's all any of us can ask of ourselves.

2. Nothing. I was social distancing before the pandemic, so what's been going on hasn't really affected my lifestyle much. I'm not in contact with any member of my family, I have no friends other than the ones I have here.

3. The sounds of the 1970s. My favorite decade of music. Classic Rock at its peak. Queen, Led-Zeppelin, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones. This kind of music has gone extinct. Why? It was so great.

4. Only need one. I wish I had been born female into a loving family.

5. Many people. MANY people. @Lara_C, @Sunspots, @Livelife, @sinking_ship, @Snake on the Moon, @JMG. Just to name a few, like I said, MANY people have helped me. Thank you all for helping me through some very difficult times. I appreciate you all *grouphug2

Yes, today we are having some exciting activities that I expect you ALL to participate in.

Thank you @Dante for opening the cafe and for the great questions, I normally just enjoy reading the answers but I'll partake in this as I'm feeling pretty good this morning.šŸŽˆ

1) What have you been up to? Short & simple: Exploring ways to improve my life AND improving my life, little step by step. Take out of that what you will šŸ˜… šŸŽ—

2) What's the FIRST thing you plan to do when all this pandemic crap is over, the shops are open again and hugging isn't frowned upon? When hugging is not frowned upon?

The pandemic has made me realise I took life for granted to the extreme, yes I was struggling but I was not putting in the effort I should have been but no-one can see into the future- I'm going to make a whole bunch of amazing friends and travel...we'll see where that leads. Yes, lots and lots of hugs will be given and I cannot wait to get my hair done, do my make-up, get dressed up and just socialise as much as possible. It will be time to party šŸŽ†

3) If you could bring back any trend, be it fashion, music, slang, anything, what would it be and why?

Programmed timed movies on TV. I loved waiting for them at X time when I was a young child-teen, the internet has taken the excitement away with so much choice! Oh and remember the top 10 songs of the week? Or whatever that was called 🤩🄰😁

5) Who on SF has really helped you? (Tagging them in your response is encouraged)

I most definitely would not be able to tag everyone here who have helped, guided me, befriended me, gave me great insights and advice, taught me things, SF is one of the very few places that welcomed me with open arms and never judged and there was a bright spark here who one day gave me some ''tough love'' which normally does not help me in applying myself to a task but with one sentence I'll never forget, it worked, I kept plugging away and pulled it off even though it was quite hard. *No - so not sharing but thank you for helping me realise my errors, it was something I needed to hear from someone I look up to šŸ’œšŸ’žā¤ SF truly is a beacon of hope. So grateful a place for us exists in this sometimes cruel, scary, chaotic world. Ye are not just usernames on a screen but people I care for a lot šŸ’¦šŸ’¦šŸ’¦

Hey @Dante
Cool questions, thanks for the invite :)

1) What have you been up to?
The last few days I've been trying to learn macrame. I have a feeling my plant pot hangy thing is going to look like a ball of string that the cat's got hold of.
Yesterday I had a bit of a hair disaster and managed to turn my hair bright yellow so today will be spent attempting to rectify that and hoping it doesn't all break off in the process.

2) What's the FIRST thing you plan to do when all this pandemic crap is over, the shops are open again and hugging isn't frowned upon?
Spend the weekend with my friend which will involve hugs, pubs, a gig and probably a kebab.

3) If you could bring back any trend, be it fashion, music, slang, anything, what would it be and why?
Punks and Goths. Best music, best clothes.

4) Oh would you look at that, a Genie's lamp. What are your 3 wishes?
Love, health and happiness for all.

5) Who on SF has really helped you?
Faaaaaaarrrrrrr too many to mention..

Thanks for another cafe @Dante. I hope everyone can have a great day, and week.

What have you been up to?
Not much... really. I should probably try and find something productive to do.

What's the FIRST thing you plan to do when all this pandemic crap is over, the shops are open again and hugging isn't frowned upon?

See some of my friends.

If you could bring back any trend, be it fashion, music, slang, anything, what would it be and why?

I wish pop music was closer to what it was in the 50s-70s than what it is today.

Oh would you look at that, a Genie's lamp. What are your 3 wishes?

I'm presuming I can't ask for unlimited wishes (?). Then maybe I'll try and create the world John Lennon talks about in the song "Imagine".

I didnt think of that, I just noticed people seemed a little down lately and I thought a little love might help validate some people. I'm not sure if its just me being blind before, but I've noticed more people struggling than usual, even some who surprised me.

No worries, I know your intentions were good. I've always been over protective and I just hate when some people are left out, that's all.

1) Pick someone on SF (Try not to pick someone who someone else picked) Tag them and say something good about them, not just "oh your great" something specifically about them.
@unnoticed is one of the loveliest people in chat and fun to be around. She knows lots of different languages, which I find admirable, she's funny, and I'm very proud of the progress she's made since I've personally "met" her. Also, an underrated compliment that I think has all its importance and I mean it : she always tries to help members in the chat room (but I wish she cared about herself a bit more).

2) Look at yourself and do the same thing, say something great to yourself and mean it, because you deserve it. (You do deserve it, no arguing).
Meh... "There's people who genuinely care about you or think you're great and they mean it, so be f*cking grateful and respect their belief in you by doing your best."

3) If you're like me and stick to the "Latest Posts" section of the forum all too much, go exploring, find a corner of the forum you never visited before and see if there is anything that is worth posting in.
I'll see what I can do.

1) What have you been up to?
Not much. Saw my friend yesterday, it was 17°C degrees and sunny, we had coffee and cake in the lovely city center. The most wonderful, peaceful day. Also been writing lots of cards recently. :)

2) What's the FIRST thing you plan to do when all this pandemic crap is over, the shops are open again and hugging isn't frowned upon?
Travel and go to concerts. Shops are already open here, but not restaurants/bars yet.

3) If you could bring back any trend, be it fashion, music, slang, anything, what would it be and why?
Medieval dresses (not just the ones for princesses), because they're long and awesome!

4) Oh would you look at that, a Genie's lamp. What are your 3 wishes?
Immediately without overthinking it : a perfect job, the end of covid, and... all my friends to be happy?

5) Who on SF has really helped you? (Tagging them in your response is encouraged)
Everyone I've ever interacted with a little has taught me something, I mean that. I hope I let them know how grateful I am so that I don't need to tag them.

Hmm, I don't talk to myself on a regular basis, so writing it felt more like me, haha. :D

Also, you gotta have some proof I did it, right? I doubt many people did. ;) (Did you? You need to answer to your own CafƩs, too. :p)

Also, it may be an unpopular opinion, but this is not about "singling anyone out". When you show gratitude or are kind towards one particular person, you shouldn't be thinking about all the people you're not showing gratitude towards in that moment and feel the pressure of making someone else out there unhappy.

Of course we're grateful towards everyone here, and everyone is amazing in their own way. At least in my opinion, and people who know me know that I mean that. But if I choose to make one or two people a little happier today, I'm not neglecting or leaving everyone else out, it doesn't make sense.

Show gratitude towards whomever you want the way that feels best to you (which doesn't have to be in a CafƩ at all, but don't take others' good intentions so personally either).

1. Working a lot, some early spring cleaning, spending time with my son..

2. Life hasn't been much different post-Covid, though once I get the second vaccine dose (Wednesday), I'll probably take a few trips, visit some family....

3. Don't know about bringing BACK any trends, but there are quite a few current trends I'd be happy to get rid of, i.e. 99% of the vapid social media polluting the internet..

4. Reset Earth history to pre=anthropoid era; Homo sapiens never evolves; make this arrangement permanent

5. Like @JMG , I'm not comfortable singling anyone out.

Thanks for the tag, @Dante *hug

1) just working, horse riding, artwork, cooking.

2) meet up with a few friends whom I love dearly, further down south

3) I would bring back the 90s as a decade. I was a small child then, and enjoyed the place and people, so very much.

4) Find what I am looking for. Do my charity work successfully. Have good health- both me and people I love.

5) Ooh, so many people, in truth. From those I have only had one chat with, to those I have had daily conversations with. A lot of whom sadly, no longer use SF. Hope their lives are going well now.

@GMody I don't think you've been tagged, so welcome. :)

Everyone, I hope you have a lovely week ahead, if you can. *hug
